^^! I met this nice young man named Draco Malfoy- we started talking about magic, and he offered to let me stay in his empty room. And he made dinner! It was really good...
No one has ever made dinner for me, not since my mother died! Usually I'm doing the cooking... I mean, I love to cook, but not to just be expected to... *does a little excited dance in place*
I got to eat food I didn't have to make! ♥ :D ♥ :D

Draco-san seems like a very tidy and accomodating person- he had a tree branch through his window from the storm, but I taped that up until we can get a new window. It was the least I could do. ^-^ Aoko-san is staying with him, too! He said we can stay until the mango people find us somewhere else to live, as long as that is. I mean, I know it's the only decent thing to do, when you have spare rooms...

I guess I'm just really not used to being on the receiving end.

I made two new friends just now, Kaito-san and Aoko-san. ^^ They know each other from before, it's sweet. Aoko-san takes good care of Kaito-san. They're both very kind and friendly. ^^

Aoko-san is going to start a restaurant or cafe, maybe, if she can't find one she wants to cook at... and then I'm going to help her fix up a building for it (heaven knows I've had enough practice at repairing buildings... ^^;;;; FROM ASH, if necessary). She said we could be partners! That was so kind, and I'm very excited. I've always cooked a lot, but it was for guests, or for a relief station or building party... I've never done anything like a cafe before. :D

And Kaito-san told me the hospital REALLY needs help, and gave me the name of his friend, Haruno Sakura-san, so I'm going to go see how I can help her.

And I met Sakuragi-san, who plays a sport called "basketball." He's very energetic- if basketball is anything like Brass Rackets, it's good for him that he is! I think the ball is bigger, which must mean the explosion is bigger too. Anyway, he wants to get off of the island, and was very interested in the dock-that-doesn't-exist-any-more. Does that mean we can't leave the island?

Are there more people who want to go and can't? But that doesn't make sense... Kaito-san said a bunch of people went home. He used the word "disappeared," though... implying that none of them said goodbye. ._. Sakuragi-san mentioned that people shrank before... but he did it quietly, so I don't think I was supposed to have heard him. ^^;;; If that sort of thing happens often, it will be just like having Lina-san over to visit...
...minus the explosions.

Someone gave me this journal! As a welcome present! ♥ It was very nice of him to do so. It will take some getting used to, but I think it's faster and more organized than my paper journal. Port Mango is... well, very beautiful, very tropical, but I think they just had a storm. There's downed branches and palm leaves everywhere.

Oh, and these spindly metallic creatures with mangoes for heads everywhere, cleaning up. I wonder if they're golems? Maybe they're the natives, and everyone else here is just visiting? It would explain the name of the island.

I hope no one was hurt in this storm... I can't feel my magic any more (it was fading on the ship as we got closer and closer to the island- it'd be really interesting to find out why. Is the island made of something special?).

Actually, I can't find the dock any more either, and I asked some of those mango-headed people and they were very polite and said there was no dock.

Well, I wanted to have an adventure of my very own! ^^;;; I need a place to stay...
I'll go see if they need help at the hos-pee-tal (it's what the mango-people call their healing temple). I'm sure they're busy after a storm like this... we always were at home, even if no one was really hurt. I can't use White magic any more, but I can still bandage, stitch, slather, refill kits, roll bandages, clean, and listen.
^_^ And I'm positive someone there will know somewhere I can get some dinner.
